Highland Park based artist, Nicolás, draws inspiration from his extensive studies of Eastern philosophy, mythology, and metaphysics.  In the small rural Argentine town where he grew up, Nicolás sensed there was more to the world than meets the eyes.  This sparked his lifelong passion for expressing higher consciousness, human evolution, and spiritual growth through artistic mediums.  

 

His body of work includes mixed media paintings, sculpture, and functional artwork.  From the abstract, vibrant, geometric paintings in his Awakening series to his exploration of Goddesses, Buddhas, and sacred Mandalas and one-of-a-kind crystal infused pyramid sculptures, his work energizes, empowers and invites joy and contemplation.  Over the past decade the influence of his travels to ancient sites like Stonehenge and the temples of Egypt are evident in his paintings.  Each awakening one to be more present and to connect with higher consciousness.
